Just yesterday, I was telling everyone how great it was that this plants is producing.

Alas, I got home last night, and the whole thing was on the ground. The plant was crushed under the basket, and its main stem is broken in three places.

Desperate, I duct taped it.

Duct tape.

If by some miracle the thing survives, it'll be definitive proof that duct tape truly can fix anything.

It actually survived quite a bit longer. It only died when it got too dried out, while I was out of town.

I know this is old but curiosity has gotten to me... how did the plant end up doing?

Still going strong, and the two baby tomatoes are about as big as marbles!

Five days later, and it's still alive! I heard there was to be high winds today, so I put it back in the ICU (hanging from the BBQ grill, surrounded by patio chairs). *fingers crossed*
