About Me:
Sustainably-minded Architect originally from Texas, I've been in AZ for 10 years and I am ALWAYS busy with some project or another.
here's a house update- my husband and I bought a 1/2 acre property near PV mall and I still have my house in Mesa- I'm currently caring for about 30 fruit trees between the two properties, fencing off a garden area at the new place (so the dogs won't destroy it) and I'm finishing up my chicken coop! I have Orpingtons and Ameraucanas, 2 dogs, and I am loving life!

House for sale in Mesa: fruit trees, garden area, and a fresh remodel

Hello fellow permies!

I usually only post about plants and chickens, but today's is a bit different. After 5 years of ownership I'm selling my home in Mesa. My biggest fear in selling the house is that the future owner will not know what to do with the fruit trees! So I wanted to see if possibly another permie is looking for a great home in a good neighborhood with established fruit trees and a garden area.

In the front yard we have an Anna Apple, a Mid Pride…

I'd love to get together.  Shoot me an email at kimewest@cox.net and we can figure out a good time to visit one another's chickens.

Thank you so much for your great info.  I'm sure my neighbor will lend me her truck, so this will be perfect.

I'm most grateful for your thoughtful email.  Barbara

Hi Kristin,
I've been wondering how your renovation project has been coming along since you got the leaky pipe repaired. :)

Thanks Kristin. It keeps me out of trouble. I've been involved in Agriculture my whole life. I've raised rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, lambs, beef cattle, horses, dogs, cats, cavies, finches to Cockatoos... lots of things :) I always try and grow from home and the best thing I think anyone can do is try to buy local if they can't grown their own. I believe in hunting and fishing (even if it's for a sport) provided the meat is used or donated to good use and we are proud to help contribute to conservation efforts of big cats around the world (especially in Central America) :)
