Thank you for giving of your time and talents to create a more sustainable community!

The Valley Permaculture Alliance utilizes volunteers in many capacities supporting our mission “to inspire sustainable living through education, community involvement and creative cooperation.” Some opportunities are tied to our large-scale events like Mesquite Bean Milling, Tour de Coops and Fruit Tree Pick-up. These needs will be posted as they arise in this group as a discussion. To learn about the full spectrum of opportunities with the Phoenix Permaculture Guild please attend the monthly volunteer orientation.

To indicate your interest or get further information about a specific event, just reply to the specific discussions. The person who posted that discussion will respond.

If you have a non- Valley Permaculture Alliance volunteer need, please create a discussion with the details and handle all of the replies. The VPA is not responsible for moderating a volunteer opportunity they did not create. The VPA also reserves the right to remove inappropriate volunteer postings.

NOTE: We encourage community involvement through volunteerism. All volunteers agree to release the Valley Permaculture Alliance, its officers and directors, and employees, from all claims, demands and actions for injuries sustained to them as a result of their involvement in these activities. All volunteers agree that attendance and involvement in such activities is voluntary and that they are participating at their own risk. Volunteers with the Valley Permaculture Alliance activities may be asked to sign a waiver and complete a volunteer information form.
